hi
I am sorry to hear your husband has been left feeling unwell for so long , it`s just a thought but has he had his hormone levels checked as an underactive thyroid or low growth hormone can cause these symptoms,it is worth checking this out with your doctor

Dear livingwith,
Was this issue ever resolved? I, too am in the ministry (teacher/evangelist) and 3 months ago began experiencing the exact symptoms you seem to be describing. I get short of breath and too weak to speak/sing specifically. I often experience these in what I would call "episodes" where they become more intense. During many of these episodes I become incredibly anxious despite trying to control it and shiver/tremble. I've passed out on one occasion. Been to ER 7 times 2 months, admitted twice to local and city hospital. No one knows anything. All tests negative so far. Anyway, I know how annoying it can be to get the forum response, "hey I'm having the same issues, help me instead," but I hadn't seen a follow up to your original post. If you are still around it might be advantageous to speak further about both of our conditions. Up to you,

In Christ,
J.A.
