Macular Drusen

Post a new topicby Guest on Sun Mar 31, 2002 9:29 pm

My doctor informed me that I have Macular Drusen. She said that in my case its probably hereditary and she will grid it and watch it. My doctor claimed that its not serious and not causing any problems. Of course I am still concern? I don't see much information on Macular Drusen except its relationship to Macular Degeneration. What more can you tell me about this? And can I do anything dietary or vitimins to improve it?

Drusen is the spots behind your retina that can lead to dry macular degeneration as it gets closer to the cornea. Start now taking preservation by bausch & lamb 2x a day, omega 3 (fish oil tablets) 1000-2000 daily & lutein daily. Good luck & keep taking these
