Hi, I just had found out a year ago that I had Aortic Stenosis and it was pretty bad and I needed surgery soon… I was in utter shock and couldn’t believe what I was hearing but it finally sank it when I went on a high altitude hike and started having chest pains. hello sherry, my name is dee and I just want to say thank you for sharing your story.. with saying that I will share mine. I was born with a heart murmer I had to go thru life of child hood taking antibiotics for dental procedures and limited physical activity, I did not find out about my stenosis til i was pregnant in 03-04. It is now at the severe stage with no extreme symptoms (thank you jesus) but I have schedule to have surgery in july 2011. I live in pa and I am being treated by abington specialist. I am scared and I am trying to thinkpositive so I may be there for my children I am all they have. any thing you may share that would help out alot.
