There are worse things…I have ALS. I tell family and friends, there are people who died today, who never saw it coming. Maybe they had a car wreck or were a victim of a sudden fatal accident. They didn’t have a chance to tell their family and friends that they loved them…I do. I have the next year or two to do just that. Dying is merely a transition to a better place. Some people have illnesses that cause unbearable pain…I don’t.

Re: There are worse things…You touched me and are a blessing. Thanks for your words. I have lost so many family members to this disease and your right in many ways, the disease is a gift. We got to say goodbye and left no unfinished business. If you should beat me to Heaven say hi to Dad for me!
