my older brother died when I was 13. he wasnt diagnosed with ALS until the last few months of his life. it took him in 6 months. my mother was diagnosed with a form of als 8 years ago and had 2 cancerous tumors. shes went through chemo and beat the cancer but is now struggling with the als its caught up to her in the last few years and it i break down in tears everytime i see her in pain. since being diagnosed shes has lived through 2 of her children getting married and awaiting the youngest no...Read the full article

your story has touch me so. My sister in law was just diagnosed with this horrible disease. I don't know what is worse, wathching her, or my brother and their two kids deal with this. I am very close to her so this is very hard for me. I can't imagine what you went through and my heart goes out to you and your family. All we can do is hold on to them while they are with us and cherish every moment we have.....
